Salon Assistant/ guest experience coordinator

We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Assistant / Guest Experience Coordinator to enhance our clients' visit by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth salon operation. This role involves engaging with guests, managing retail sales, and supporting daily salon activities and stylists to create a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, reliable, coachable, positive, drama free, and possesses strong communication skills to foster positive guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out processes using POS systems
  • keep the stylists and salon running smoothly, support team with laundry, back bar restock, maintain clean salon floor, reception area, coffee bar and back bar
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and scheduling via phone and in person
  • Support the salon team ensuring a seamless guest experience
  • Shampoo, Condition, blowdry and stylist support ( based on skill level)
  • Promote services and retail products through effective communication
  • Assist with supervising experience initiatives, ensuring guests receive attentive care throughout their visit

Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Familiarity with POS systems, booking and scheduling
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Experience with working in a team environment
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
