What is Microneedling?
Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a skin rejuvenation treatment. This treatment allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair mechanism by creating micro “injuries” in the skin, which triggers new collagen formation and improves fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and acne scars. The result is smoother, firmer and younger looking skin!

Microneedling may be the ideal treatment option for you, if you want to:
• Improve fine lines and wrinkles
• Improve the appearance of acne and acne scarring
• Improve the appearance of pigmentation and sun damage
• Even skin tone
• Improve stretch marks
• Reduce pore size and tighten the skin
• Stimulate collagen formation
• Rejuvenate your face with very minimal down time
Where on the body can Microneedling be performed?
Microneedling can be performed on all parts of the body; face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.
What will my Microneedling treatment be like?
Before your treatment, your skin is numbed with topical anesthetic cream, so your treatment can be performed with minimal discomfort. The automated Microneedling Pen is then applied over the treatment area creating micro “injuries” in the skin. Next, a Booster serum can be applied to the skin and effectively absorbed, increasing the results of your treatment. Patients experience zero or very little social downtime.
How many treatments are required?
Clients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin following treatment. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results continue to improve up to 6 months after treatment as collagen remodeling continues. While results vary from person to person and by the condition being treated, results are often seen after only two treatments. For maximum results, it is typically recommended to receive a series of 3-6 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart.
